Each boat has a capacity to carry 12 adults and 4 children, the boats can be hired individually or as a pair for larger parties.

Millie has kitchen facilities with hot water plus a stove, a toilet and lighting and is therefore the boat that is used for longer trips. We can also offer catering if required.

We are now also offering self hire on Millie for family parties, with instruction on boat handling and lock management at the start of your hire to ensure that you have an enjoyable stress free trip.

These trips are very popular with Scout Groups, School Parties, Camera Clubs etc.

On the cruise you will pass through various locks and have the opportunity to spot Kingfishers, Otters, Herons and other wildlife along the way.

The boats are easily accessible with wide steps and a hand rail at the entrance. For comfort, individual seats are available.

The boats have qualified staff who are emergency first aid trained, buoyancy rings and life jackets which are optional.

Mobile phones and first aid kits are carried on each trip.
